A competition of student films from across the globe
The Zlín Dog has snooped around the four corners of the Earth for student film creation, finally flushing out nearly 200 films and shorts. The best of them are now being selected, which will be served up for enjoyment during the festival. You’ll even get to try exotic film cuisine from countries such as Brazil, Israel, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia!

Success of DOGAGE
The first Zlin Dog event this year - the Spring DOGAGE - was really successful! There were plenty of people, partying till early morning but more importantly we managed to get 53 kilos of dog food together! Thanks everybody! We will hand it over to all the dogs in Zlin pound next week. Long live the dogs!!!

The idea for the 2007 festival spot came from a new duo from the Film School Zlín, Tomáš Velecký and Martin Smékal. While filming, they caused quite a stir in Zlin public transport…maybe you were there! It happened the last day of February!

Zlin Dog organizers invite you to the Press Conference. It will be held in Palace Cinemas, Nový Smíchov, Praha 5 on Tuesday March 20, 2007 from 11:00. The PR manager will present important infomation about the 2007 festival program, invited guests and about the production of the 2007 festival spot.
